Neil Walter Pohl (Budge) went to heaven July 1, 2013 at the age of 60, surrounded by family and dear friends at his home. Neil was born to the late Edward and Irene (Maske) Pohl on April 20, 1953 in New Richmond, WI, the youngest of three children. He went on to graduate from NRHS in 1971. Neil married Robin Anderson on June 18, 1971. They made their home out in the country of New Richmond, WI. He worked for Andersen Windows for many years before moving on to start his own business, Pohl’s landscaping and Lime Quarry, up until retirement. Neil enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as shooting trap, and adding to his various collections. He had a love for softball and spent many years playing softball. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Irene Pohl, as well as his father and mother-in-law, Reuben & Millie (Price) Anderson. Neil is survived by his wife of 42 years, Robin; children, Jeanine (Kelly) Moore of Deer Park, Derek Pohl of New Richmond, and Melissa (Rick) Harnack of Barron. He is also survived by his sister, Shirley (Jerry) Bestler of New Richmond and brother, Ed (Cherre) Pohl of Red Wing. Neil was blessed in his life with seven grandchildren, Bryant & Janelle Moore, Payton Pohl, and Destiny, Ariel, Krystalaina, & Daimian Weiss, as well as his two step-grandchildren, Hailee and Logan Harnack. The visitation is Friday, July 5th, 2013 from 4-7 PM at the Cullen Crea Funeral Home 307 South Arch Avenue in New Richmond. The funeral service will be held at the Pohl residence on Saturday, July 6th, 2013 at 10:30 AM, with prayers and burial following afterwards at the North Running Valley Cemetery in Colfax, WI
