Mary Rose Coughlin

Mary Rose Coughlin, 94, of New Richmond, Wisconsin, died peacefully on August 30, 2019, at the Deerfield Gables Care Center.

Mary Rose was born February 17, 1925, to Owen and Bridget (Casey) Coughlin in New Richmond. She graduated from New Richmond High School in 1944. After graduation Mary Rose worked for Doboy Plastics. She then worked on the family farm for many years. In her spare time, Mary Rose enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins and spending time with family. She also enjoyed participating in the social activities at Deerfield.

She is survived by her nieces, Catherine (Grant) Quam of Owatonna, Minnesota, and Jean Green of Osceola, Wisconsin; nephew-in-law, Patrick Scott of Rosemount, Minnesota; grandnieces, Cari (Justin) Foss of Marion, Iowa, and Anna Green of Osceola, Wisconsin; grandnephews, Patrick (Jennifer) Quam of Acworth, Georgia, and Steven Quam of Farmington, Minnesota; great-grand nephew and nieces, Owen Foss, Amelia Foss and Sarah Quam.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Thomas Coughlin; her sisters, Katherine Maitrejean and Theresa Mahoney; brothers-in-law, Wilfred Maitrejean and Donald Mahoney; nieces, Sharon (Mahoney) Anderson and Patricia (Maitrejean) Scott; and nephew-in-law, Darwin Green.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at Immaculate Conception Church with visitation half hour prior to the service. Interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery will follow the Mass.
