Mary Jean Fredrick (Shore), age 85, passed away suddenly of heart and lung complications at home, on October 6, 2024. She was born on August 28, in Robbinsdale, MN to Francis and Effie May Shore.
Mary was preceded in death by both of her parents, brother Gerald Shore, and Grandchildren Victoria and Franklin Roth. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Franklin; daughter, Megan (Patrick) Jaworski and her grandchildren, Kayli Grace, Addison and Dylan; numerous extended family and dear friends who she adored like her own family.
Mary was a proud resident of Coon Rapids, MN for most of her life. Her career began working at Northern States Power (NSP). Mary proudly volunteered at Epiphany Church, worked as a typist for West Publishing and eventually accepted a job with Anoka County. Mary attended the Church of St. Timothy’s in Blaine. She would often enjoy having meals at Bakers Square, where she made several close friends. In 2023, Mary and Frank sold their home and moved to New Richmond, WI. to downsize and be closer to family.
Mary was a caring wife, mother and grandma. She brought so much happiness to everyone around her. She was always quick to ask how everyone was doing and about recent events that had happened in their lives. Mary left us with wonderful memories to cherish in her absence. We will all miss her deeply but find great comfort in knowing she is in the loving arms of God.
A visitation and catholic ceremony to remember Mary’s life will be on Wednesday, November 20, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel. 1 Tower Avenue, Fort Snelling, MN 55450.
