Marjorie “Marge” Mae Faulks, born on June 14, 1923, in Antigo, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully in Hudson, Wisconsin, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and community service. She spent her formative years on a farm, where she developed a strong work ethic that would carry her through life. After graduating from high school, Marge moved to town, rented a room and embarked on her career as a bookkeeper in the financial industry.
It was during this time that she met her beloved husband, Dean. Their romance blossomed quickly, leading to a joyous marriage less than a year later. Together, they created a family rooted in love and support. Marge’s commitment to her family and community was evident in her active participation in the Order of the Eastern Star, where she proudly served as worthy matron for many and was appointed grand representative from Wisconsin to the state Alabama, embodying her spirit of leadership and service.
In the 1980s, Marge and Dean made the bold decision to move to Florida, where they would spend 35 cherished years. The couple settled in Bloomington before moving to Eden Prairie, ultimately moving to River Falls. For the past four years, Marge has resided at Woodland Hill in Hudson, where she continued to share her warmth and love with those around her.
Marge’s love for animals was evident in her fondness for her pet cats, who brought her joy and companionship throughout her life. She also found great pleasure in going on car rides, relishing the beauty and adventure that life offered her at every turn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Frank Boettcher; husband Dean; infant son, Gerald; sister, Marion Hitz; brother, Alfred Boettcher; grandson, Brian Healy.
Marge is survived by daughter, Janice (Steve) Healy; son, Don (Cindi) Faulks; grandchildren, Stacy Jo Healy, Stephanie (Ron) Hagen, Megan (Jason) Wolsey, Lindsey Faulks, Michael Faulks, Katie (Matt) Fautsch and Kevin Lehman; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Alex Healy, Brode, Ella, Tyler Hagen, McKay Wolsey, Emma and Mason Fautsch.

What a lovely lady – so classy. Met her once and she welcomed everyone into her home – so gracious. My deepest sympathies to Janice and your brother and families.
We lived next door in Antigo. One spring we were burning grass in our yard. The west wind took the flames to start the Faulks fence on fire. Nothing ruffled Marge’s feathers. She had to chuckle about it. We could not have had better neighbors.
We had a great neighborhood! So many wonderful childhood memories.
Janice and Steve, we are so sorry to hear of Marge’s passing. We enjoyed Marge’s company so much, she was always full of life and happiness, she had a big smile for everyone. She was an inspiration to us, we thought so much of her. She will be missed by many. Hugs to you Janice.

Marge was such a special lady – always with a smile. We enjoyed getting to know her at the RF hospital fitness center. She and Gene would tell stories while “working out” on side-by-side machines. So many occasions over the years to enjoy her sense of humor. Marge lived a long & prosperous life, and will be missed by her many friends. God’s blessings to her family.
