Marion Halverson

Marion Halverson, age 92, of Cylon, Wisconsin passed away on December 31, 2016 at the Deerfield Gables in New Richmond, WI. Marion was born on March 11, 1924 to Isaac Parent and Louella Palmer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Halverson; sisters, Eileen Joyce, Gwen Eckert, Lois Shepard; daughters, Jacquie and Maureen Weiss. Marion is survived by her brother, Isaac “Bud” Parent of Atlanta, GA; daughters, Mary Lou (Willie) Braeker of Cottage Grove, MN; Kathy (Earl) DeCosse of So. Falls, SD; Rita (Doug) Ellickson of Bloomington, MN; Mark (Kim) Halverson of Coon Rapids, MN; Helen (Bruce) Moore of Clear Lake, WI; Colette Rutledge of New Richmond, WI; Julie (Mark) Coty of Osceola, WI; Paul (Angie) Halverson of Corona, California; Peter (Dee) Halverson of Altoona, WI; son-in-law, Jan Weiss of Clear Lake, WI; 24 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. We would like to thank the staff at the Deerfield and Deerfield Gables for their care and kindness the last 7 years.

Mass of Christian Burial 12 noon on Wednesday January 4, 2017 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Erin Prairie, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass at Church. Interment parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Croix Hospice or Deerfield Gables.
