Margaret Ann Cammuca, age 88, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond, Wisconsin. She was born on October 13, 1936 in Los Angeles, California. Shortly after, Ann and her family moved back to Chicago. Ann met the love of her life, Tony and they were married on May 16, 1959. Ann and Tony were married for 27 years before his untimely passing in 1986. They were blessed with their two children, Marge and Tony. For the last 20 years, Ann has called New Richmond, Wisconsin home.
Ann enjoyed crocheting, bowling, ceramics, gardening, planting flowers and arrangements in the spring, playing cards, telling stories of her dogs, watching her soap operas, documentaries on elephants, seeing deer, rabbit, and fox come through the yard, birds (yellow finches were a favorite) and woodpeckers coming to feed near the window, having holiday visitors sign her Christmas tablecloth, cooking for family and friends, spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends from the old neighborhood and her New Richmond family. Very proud of her son Tony, grandsons Luciano and Dominic for their military service. Ann was known to enjoy an occasional rum and coke.
Ann is survived by her children, Marge Cammuca and Anthony L. (Veronica) Cammuca; grandchildren, Luciano (Stefanie) Cammuca, Irene N. (Brad) Perry, Rebecca L. (Aaron) Vowels, Dominic J. (Emily) Cammuca; great grandchildren, Alyssandra, Giovanna, Luciano Jr., Alyssa (Micah), James, Keylei, Temperance, Milasandra, Michelle, Amanda, Connor, Abbigail, Nola and Vivian; siblings, Joan Moritz, Carol Varco, Marion Alby, Barb (Bob) Delia, Deb (Bruce) Severson; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; “adopted grandchildren” Brian, Kevin, Paige, Piper, Damon, Landon and Jayden; granddog Sweet Pea; extended family and many special friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Tony; siblings, Edmund “Butch” (Babs) Peterson, Richard Peterson, William (Bill) Peterson; brothers-in-law, Jasper Cammuca, Frank Homer and David Janisch; sister-in-law Teresa Cammuca; and nephews, Dave Janisch, Joe Janisch and Michael Moritz; her dogs, Babe, Brandy, Freeway and Angel; granddogs, Whitney and Dakoda.
Graveside services will be held privately at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Hillside, Il later where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Tony. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the ER staff of Westfields Hospital; her primary doctors, Dr. Robin Reichert and Kevyn A.J. Wollenberg, PA-C for their care of Mom over the years and to Allison Tank and the staff of Bakken-Young, New Richmond, WI with the respect given to Mom and your help through this process.

Auntie Ann, I will always remember your salt & pepper shaker collection. You are with Uncle Tony now and I know that was a great reunion, along with the rest of the gang! My sincere condolences to Marge, Nino and all those wonderful grandbabies and great-grandbabies.
