Lynn Moris

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lynn Moris, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, age 76 of New Richmond on March 28, 2025. Lynn lived life with a fiery wit and sassy sense of humor, but more importantly with a kind and generous heart. She cherished every moment spent with family and loved making others smile, laugh, and feel loved whether they were family, friend, or stranger. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Delores Weinhold, brother Paul Weinhold, brother John Weinhold, and many other loved ones. She will be deeply missed by her surviving family: husband, William Moris; children, Karen Smith of Faribault, MN, Jodi Wendorf (Derick) of Hudson, WI, Ryan Halverson (Corinna) of Stillwater, MN, Cory Halverson (Cyndy) of St. Cloud, MN, and Alex Halverson (Lexy) of St. Paul, MN; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 6 siblings, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.

The family is very grateful to the administration and staff at the Cancer Center of Wisconsin (New Richmond), St. Croix Hospice, and the St. Croix Health Center for their compassionate and highly skilled care for Lynn and our family.

Today, a sad day. I just learned that Lynn had passed. She was wonderful, sassy and considerate person. We knew one another from her visiting our KT store #337 in New Richmond. I’ll always remember her response when I asked her how she was doing, “every day is a good day”. Many of us worried when we wouldn’t see Lynn for a long period of time. She will be so missed by me and many of the co-workers at #337. Rest in peace, Lynn.
