LaVone Moe

LaVone Moe, age 88 of Somerset, WI, died peacefully on Saturday October 26, 2019 at the Westfields Hospital in New Richmond.

He was born on September 20, 1931 in Alden Township to Cliff and Cora (Belisle) Moe. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War. His hobbies included golf, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and spending his winters in Harlingen, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 61 years, Myrtle (Leverty); and his brother Conrad.

LaVone is survived by his daughter, Sheila (David) Inman; grandchildren, Christa (Adam) Nyberg, Lindsey (Ryan) Sicard; great granddaughters, Julia and Ava Nyberg, and Maezie Sicard. Sister Judy (John) Troll, brother Mick (Darcy Breault) Moe.

Mass of Christian Burial 12 pm, Saturday, November 2nd, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Somerset. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment parish cemetery with full military honors provided by the Somerset American Legion Post 111. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
