In Loving Memory of Landon LeMere
November 11, 2003 – May 1, 2025
With broken hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the untimely passing of Landon LeMere, who was called home far too soon at the age of 21. Born on November 11, 2003, Landon brought with him a light that warmed the lives of all who knew him. He was the cherished son of Jayme and Mandy LeMere, and the beloved youngest sibling to Ashley and Bailey, with whom he shared a deep and unshakable bond, a unique connection, like three strands in a rope bound tightly by love, family and purpose.
Landon was a free and independent spirit, an incredibly kind-hearted soul, and an unapologetic American patriot. He proudly stood for the traditional values that shaped our nation: faith, family, and freedom. His deep love for God and country was matched only by the fierce devotion he had for those closest to him. Landon had a gift for joy, he lit up a room with his smile and his endless ability to make others feel seen, valued, and uplifted.
In this past year, Landon found special joy in his role as an uncle. His niece Emmy became the apple of his eye, and he never passed up a chance to be by her side, doting on her with love and laughter that will forever echo in her heart and serve as an example of the incredible bond of family.
Though his time with us was tragically brief, Landon’s spirit leaves a legacy. A young man with the world at his feet, full of promise, passion, and purpose, has now been called to a higher one. We mourn what we’ve lost, but trust in the greater plan God has for him, one that carries Landon’s light forward into eternity, touching more lives than we can ever know.
Some years ago, he made the selfless decision to be an organ donor. The loss we feel today is offset only by the knowledge that his death has given the gift of life or improved life to more than 60 people. For all those that love Landon, our tragedy has become a miracle for others.
Landon is survived by his parents Jayme and Mandy LeMere (River Falls, WI), Siblings: Ashley (Jake) Johnson (Amery, WI), Bailey (Emily) Mayer (Roberts, WI). Bonus brother Matt Passofaro (Baldwin, WI). Grandparents: Al Hendricks (Cottage Grove, MN), Dianne LeMere (Augusta, WI), Frankie Pape (Augusta, WI). Great Grandmother Patti Bailey (Eau Claire, WI). Aunts and Uncles: Lori and Joe Bechtel (Augusta, WI), Angel and Shannon Zimmerman (River Falls, WI), Angie and Dan Lane (Augusta, WI), Dale Thorson (Osseo, WI). Cousins: Justin (Katy), Josh (Mandy), Erika (Pat), Nick (Karalee), Issy (Joe), Josh, Tylor, Cloe, Lenni, Boone, Ripp, Taylor, Addy, Harper, Morri, Hazel, Montee, Stella, Graham and Lacon. And his diesel gang that included so many friends that were Landon’s family.
Preceded in death by Grandmother, Katie Pape; Aunt, Teresa Thorson; and Cousin, Trey Zimmerman.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 9th at 4:00 PM at St. Croix Lanes, 1153 St Croix Street, River Falls, Wisconsin. Family sharing will start at 7pm. We invite all who knew and loved Landon to join us in honoring his memory and the things he held dearest: faith, family, freedom, laughter, and a life well lived. His family is asking that everyone wear their favorite patriotic gear.
Rest easy, Landon. You will never be forgotten.

Heartbreaking to have this happen. Landon has worked for us for many years and we always enjoyed having him around. He was a great kid and could really shine a big truck up. It won’t be the same without him around. Rest easy.
This is such an amazing tribute to Landon. I don’t even know what to say. I am heartbroken for your whole family. I have been thinking about you all and wishing there was something I could do to help or ease the pain. We are scheduled to come back to Wisconsin on the 15th. I am very sad we will be missing the celebration of life. I wish we could be there. I know it will be epic for Landon. We will be thinking about you all and praying for you to find peace. Sending the biggest hugs. Love you all.
