Joseph Lawrence Brick

Joseph Lawrence Brick lived 72 years. Then on May 12, 2021, Joseph breathed his last and died at a good old age, an old man and full of years. He was born on December 26, 1948, in Shakopee, MN to Joseph & Bernice Lucille (Oleson) Brick. Joseph married Billie Charlotte Brick in 1967. He adopted Billie’s daughter, Charlotte Ann, whom he loved dearly. In 1970 they had a son, Kelly Joseph Brick, who called his dad every morning. Joseph worked for Silgan Containers and Conagra Foods as a fork-lift driver until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Doug, Dave, Rose, and Betty. He is survived by his daughter, Charlotte (Donald Roger) Mechelke; son, Kelly Joseph Brick; grandchildren, Joseph David Roger Mechelke, Sarah Ann Mechelke, Paislee Madeline Brick; sister, Shirley Fink; brother, Ronald Paul; and his former wife, Billie Brick.  His name lives on with Kelly Joseph & Joseph David. A celebration of his life for immediate family will be held on Wednesday May 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Edina Community Lutheran Church, 4113 West 54^th Street in Edina, MN. 55424. A visitation for the public will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church.
