I remember Joseph as he graduated with my brother, Terry Mezera. We lived about 2 blocks from the family. I send my condolences to the
family. I remember walking by their home, and his mom talking about him.

Joe was always a nice guy and was cool enough not to get all weird because I was the boss’s wife years ago. Joe was someone who you were better knowing!

Very sorry to hear of Micky’s passing. I grew up with Mick on Potter rd In Eau Claire. In those days he was Micky because his Dad was Joe. I’m guessing his middle name is Michael. His Dad would put up 5 gallons of home made wine every year. One year we swiped a gallon because we were planning on sleeping out in the woods and thought that would make the party. We then took some wine from the other four gallons which we put into another jug. Then we filled them all up with water. The party was good but when Joe sr opened the wine it was no good. He never made another batch and none of us had the courage to tell him! We were teenagers and sorry about it afterwards. Micky and I lived for snow days. We knew where every little old lady on our side of town lived. We would grab our snow shovels and head out about 8am to finish when we got too tired, about 5pm. We’d make enough money to buy soda and candybars for 3 months. RIP my friend!!
