Joseph Michael Groppoli Sr.
Joseph Michael Groppoli Sr., a resident of New Richmond, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on March 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, to Joseph Luke Groppoli and Gertrude Groppoli, both of whom preceded him in death.
Joseph shared 53 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Linda. Together, they built a life centered on family, laughter, and unwavering support for one another.
He was the proud father of Joseph Groppoli Jr. and his wife Jessica, and Tim Groppoli. Joseph was a devoted grandfather to Stephaine (Adam), Coryn (Derek), Nathan (Alicia), Adeline, Caden, and Mason, and a cherished great-grandfather to Sawyer, Harlow, Everly, Pylit, and Oliver, all of whom brought him tremendous joy.
Joseph spent many years working for Gillette Company, where he was known as a dedicated and hardworking employee. Outside of work, he was especially remembered for his quick wit and warm sense of humor. His ability to make others laugh and feel welcome will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Above all, Joseph treasured time with his family. His love, guidance, and humor created lasting memories that will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Linda, his sons and their families, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held on March 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., both at The Heights Church, 1845 E. Hyacinth Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55119.
