John H. Murray

John Harold Murray age 83 of New Richmond, Wisconsin died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday December 18, 2011 at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond, Wisconsin. He was born on May 22, 1928 in New Richmond to John P. & Mary (Clennan) Murray. He was married to Kathleen Brennan on February 23, 1952. John was a 1945 graduate of New Richmond High School. He enjoyed visiting with people and loved old time polka music, dancing, Irish songs and playing cards. He was a farmer at heart, who loved the outdoors. He and his wife Kathleen had a cabin on Cedar Lake, where he could have fun with the grandchildren, who he loved with all his heart. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Ann Murray; daughter, Mary Kay Murray Tjader; sisters, Mary Murray & Madonna Murray. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Kathleen (Brennan) Murray; children, J. Michael Murray (Christine Consiglio) & Colleen Linder (Brian Stroot); his beloved grandchildren, Scott Linder, Ryan Linder, Genessa Tjader, David Tjader, Kimberly Murray, Matthew Murray, Emily Murray & Sam Stroot; son–in-law, Tom Tjader, also many in laws, extended family and very close special friends. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday December 22, 2011 at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Visitation 4-8 PM Wednesday December 21, 2011 at the CULLEN CREA FUNERAL HOME in New Richmond, Wisconsin and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment parish cemetery.
