Jean A. Johnson 09/10/2025

Jean Anne Johnson, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

Jean was born to Jasper and Ida Jasperson on August 20, 1931, in Richmond, Wisconsin.

Jean was united in marriage to Lloyd B. Johnson on June 3, 1950, and together they raised 6 children, three boys and three girls.  Jean was a loving and caring person who adored her family and loved spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed the outdoors and working side by side with Lloyd as they would take apart and reassemble lawn mower motors and make trailers.  Being a stay at home mom, Jean took great pride in being there for her children.  She especially enjoyed a good road trip and traveling to Branson to see some of her favorite performers. She will be dearly missed by her children, Ken Johnson, Den Johnson, Pamela York, Kathy Morris, Renee (Mike) Boucher, Darrel (Carole) Johnson; grandchildren, Shawn, Lance, Sarah, Cyndie, Derrick, Christal, Chris, Jimmy, Melissa, Mickey, Chad, Francine, Travis and Brad; 38 great grand grandchildren; and 15 great great grandchildren.

Jean is preceded in death by, Husband, Lloyd; parents, Jasper and Ida Jasperson; siblings, Francis Jasperson, Marion Barriault, James Jasperson; and great grandchildren, Landon Hansen and Carter Hansen; daughters-in-law, Gail Johnson, Sheila Johnson; sons-in-law, Gary York and Don Morris.  We would like to thank Westfield Hospital and the staff at Deerfield for taking such wonderful care of our mom.

Funeral services for Jean were held on  Monday, September 22, 2025 at 11:00AM at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church (365 West River Drive) New Richmond, Wisconsin.  Visitation was held at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) New Richmond, Wisconsin on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 3:00-6:00PM and again at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday.  Jean’s funeral was live streamed using the link listed below.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Deer Park, Wisconsin.
