James J. Watters

James J. Watters

At his house, comforted by family. James J. Watters “Jimmy” of Somerset, WI was called home by his heavenly father just after midnight on Wednesday March 9, 2011. Waiting to welcome Home the prettiest baby they had ever seen, was his father, James P. Watters and his loving mother, Alice M. Cloutier. Alongside them with open arms were his sisters, Alice Marie and Margie Martell.
At 57 years young, our father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle, friend, coworker, and mentor was taken from us sooner than any of us could ever have expected, but he left us with so many cherished memories and stories. Employed by Andersen Windows for 37 years, and adopted member of Post 111 in Somerset WI, a newly appointed proud Parrot-head, and a self proclaimed Big Shot; he still always found time for his family as long as it didn’t interfere with his T-time, of course.
Jimmy is survived by sons, Jason Watters and Joseph (Starlyn) Watters; daughter, Jayme Watters, former wife of 26 years and mother of children, Renee Watters. If his children didn’t keep him busy enough he was also blessed with 9 grandchildren to keep him young, Mason (14), Kailla (10), Maria (6), Merrik (5), Alyssa (9), Brianna (7), Madison (4), Christina (3), and Sawyer (2); also survived by brothers, Tom (June) Watters, John (Kathy) Watters, Chuck Watters and Bob (Tomasena) Watters; sister, Marcia (Jim) Chandler; and many beloved nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will take place from 1:00 -3:30 PM on Wed. March 16th at Cullen Crea Funeral Home in New Richmond WI. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM. Celebration of Life to start at 4:30 PM at Bristol Ridge Golf Course in Somerset, Wisconsin.
It is now the Good Lord’s turn to deal with our Jimmy’s sense of humor.
