Irma Rupe

Irma Lilian Rupe (nee, Stubbs), age 80, passed away October 3, 2024, in New Richmond, WI. She was born on February 13th 1944, to James and Rebecca (Lowe) Stubbs in Middlesbrough, England. She served in the Royal Air Force from 1961-62. She later worked at Collier Co Sheriff’s Office in Florida. Irma had a passion for gardening and rescuing stray animals. She also loved to travel the world. She enjoyed spending time with family.

Irma was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Irene, Betty, and Doris.

She is survived by her sons, Peter, Richard, and Scott Rupe; daughter, Elizabeth (Tom) Sweeny; brother, Jim Stubbs of Dover, England; grandchildren, Madeline, Janus, Camilla, Zoe, Alex, and Thomas.

Visitation will be held from 10AM – 12PM on Saturday October 12th 2024, at Cullen Crea Funeral Home in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Interment will be held in November 2024 at Acklam Cemetery, Acklam Rd. Middlesbrough TS5 7HD, United Kingdom.
