Finding Comfort After the Unthinkable: A Gentle Invitation to our ‘Death of a Child’ Webinar

There are no words that can truly capture the depth of grief that follows the loss of a child. For many families, it is the unthinkable—a pain that can feel isolating and impossible to navigate. While everyone’s journey is unique, one truth remains: you don’t have to walk this path alone.

Understanding the Unique Grief of Child Loss

The loss of a child brings a whirlwind of emotions—confusion, heartache, anger, guilt, and an overwhelming longing. Grief may come and go in waves, sometimes surfacing during quiet moments, sometimes amidst everyday routines. It can transform relationships, change memories, and cast a long shadow over life’s milestones.
Yet, even in the depths of sorrow, connection and comfort can be found. The courage to seek support is itself an act of hope.

Why Support Matters

Grieving the loss of a child often feels different from other forms of loss. Well-meaning friends and family may not always know what to say or do; days can feel long and lonely. Connecting with others who carry similar pain can bring understanding—reminding us that there is no “right” way to grieve, and that healing does not follow a timeline.

Introducing the ‘Death of a Child’ Webinar

We invite you to join our You’re Not Supposed to Die Before Me: Death of a Child, at Any Age Webinar, created as a space for gentle support, education, and hope. Led by experienced grief counselor Pamela Gabbay, EdD, FT, the webinar offers:
  • Education about the different ways that individuals are deeply impacted and affected after the death of a child at any age.
  • Identification of helpful and practical tips for coping with grief.
  • Ways in which each family member may grieve differently after the death of a child.
Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, you are welcome here. The webinar is a safe place—free of pressure and full of understanding.

You Are Not Alone

No parent or family expects to face this kind of loss, but you are not alone on this journey. By participating in the webinar, you may find new comfort or clarity to carry forward—no matter where you are in your grief.
