Greta was always so complimentary to me and encouraging my in playing the church organ. She always stayed after the service to walk me to my car and we had wonderful conversations together. I was blessed to visit again at Deerfield with her. I am honored to play at her funeral.
Greta and my mother were good friends for years. There was always a lot of laughter and conversation between them. And, I always enjoyed talking with her and her parents.
Rest in peace sweet Greta.
You had the best stories!
My Heart goes out to Bradley and Mark and the rest of the family. All my Love and Hugs. God Bless You All.
I loved Greta! She was part of the Morrisette family. Whenever i was at Grandma’s and Boneses, Greta would call us over and ply us with goodies, fill us in on the northside gossip. Long after I moved away, we still kept in touch. I’ll miss you!
So many stops at Greta’s while taking walks and bike rides with the kids. She was always happy and was fun to talk to. The kids still remember her. Take care Brad and Mark. It’s hard losing your mom.💙
So very sorry to hear about your Mom, Brad! Keeping you and Mark in my prayers 🙏
My condolences on your loss. Keeping your family in my thoughts.
Deepest sympathies on the loss of your Mom. What a wonderful lady. Never forget all the conversations we had and how positive she was. Also what a terrific baker she was. Your family’s are in my thoughts and prayers.
I got to know Greta well in the early 2000s while engaged in conversation about the olden days or while exchanging emails. She knew the Northside well and loved to share her stories about it with me and of course she remembered me when I was just a little boy down the street from her. She worked at Doughboy as a young lady and was well engaged in that organization as she was with First Lutheran. My condolences to the family for their loss. I will always remember her with a smile on my face.
