Glen Robert Belisle, age 89, passed away on February 21, 2016 at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond surrounded by his loving family. Glen was born on May 6, 1926 to Rodrick and Adele (Montpetit) Belisle in Somerset, Wisconsin. Glen was a proud World War II Army veteran. Though Glen spent most of his time farming, he also liked to fish, garden, and play cards whenever he had a chance. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wallace, Wilbur, Sherman; and sister, Alice Mae. Glen is survived by his beloved wife, Muriel (Paquin) Belisle; children, Patricia (Jody) Reed, Don (Barb) Belisle, Joy McConaughey, Gail (Kevin) Kuehn, Dale (Lynn) Belisle, and Dan (Christy) Belisle; sixteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and sister Virgie (Lowell) Rivard A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday February 24, 2016 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Somerset, WI. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to Mass at the church. Military Honors performed by Somerset American Legion Post 111.
