Gilbert “Bud” Parent age 84 of New Richmond, Wisconsin died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday March 4, 2012 at United Hospital in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Bud was born on May 4, 1927 in Somerset, Wisconsin to Emil and Olivene (Baillargeon) Parent. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters. Survived by his loving wife, Gretta (Miller) Parent of 61 years; children, Sandra (Steven) Bottolfson, Robert (Carrie) Parent; sister, Florabelle (“Red” Martin) Appleby; brother, Wilford Parent; grandchildren, Merlyn (Heather) Leslie Jr,, Teresa (Chad) Wegener, Stacy (Brent) Swanson, Jami (Will) Graves, Amy (Garett) Monson, Aaron (Ashley) Parent and 14 great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday March 8, 2012 at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the CHURCH. Interment Clear Lake Cemetery, Clear Lake, Wisconsin.
