Jerry died after a courageous one year battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family and friends on January 25, 2012 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. He was born on May 18, 1947 in St. Paul, MN. Jerry graduated from North High School and had a two year electronics degree. He served in Vietnam with the Air force. Preceded in death by his parents, Eugene & Edna Mae (Morisson) LaBarre and his former wife, Annette Courteau. Survived by his loving wife , Julie (Nelson) LaBarre; children, Wendy (Brian Whipple) LaBarre, Christopher (Linda) LaBarre; sisters, Marilyn LaBarre, Donna (James) Brown; brother, Bob (Anita) LaBarre; nieces and nephews, Dawn (Paul) Schultz, Michelle (Bill) Nagel (Grant and Carson), Kris (Dave)Rauenhorst (James); & mother-in-law, Jodie Nelson. Funeral service 12 Noon, Saturday January 28th at CULLENCREA FUNERAL HOME 307 South Arch Ave., New Richmond, WI. Visitation 2 hours prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial preferred. Interment with full military honors, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
