Gerald Kieckhoefer

Gerald Albert Kieckhoefer, age 89, of New Richmond, Wisconsin passed away on January 29, 2019 at his family home. He was born on November 24, 1929 in Somerset, Wisconsin to Albert & Bernice (Bazille) Kieckhoefer. Gerald spent his life operating his family farm known as Rolling Hills Dairy. He had a passion for livestock and he enjoyed working with his horses and cattle. He spent a lot of time at the family cabin up North with his sons and grandchildren. In his free time he loved hunting and fishing with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cyrella Flandrick, daughters in law, Mary Kieckhoefer and Barb Kieckhoefer, son in law, Bryan Vanasse. Gerald is survived by his beloved wife, Rita (Rondeau) Kieckhoefer; children, Gerry Jr. (Cathy) Kieckhoefer, Bob (Colleen) Kieckhoefer, Jeanne Vanasse, Randy Kieckhoefer, Mike (Kathy) Kieckhoefer, Dave (Pam) Kieckhoefer, Julie (Mike) Petherbridge; 26 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday February 1, 2019 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Somerset, Wisconsin. Visitation for two hours prior to Mass at the church.
