Gerald Allen Nelson age 73 of Star Prairie, Wisconsin died peacefully on Tuesday November 13, 2012 at his home. He was born on March 15, 1939 in Todd County, Minnesota to Harry & Mabel (Emerson) Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Myron Nelson. Survived by his loving wife, Wanda (Becker); children, Tamra Mahlke, Carrie (Keith) Miller, Jennifer (Tom) Aasmundrud, Amy (Dave) McConnell; sisters, Janet (Paul) Supplee, Carolyn (Steve) Branson; grandchildren, Crystal (Michael) Vagts, Stephanie Deveaux, Adam Mahlke, Montana “MoMo” Miller, Elijah Miller, Brady Aasmundrud, Beau Aasmundrud, Brandon Aasmundrud, Nathan McConnell, Nicole (Jason) Hagedorn, Allitney McConnell, Dietric McConnell; great grandchild, Racina “Beans” Hagedorn. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday November 16, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment Clear Lake Cemetery.
