Sorry to hear about the passing of Butch. My prayers
I knew Butch as a friend and fellow basketball and football official. He was such a great guy and also an exceptional and conscientious official. He had such a wonderful subtle sense of humor and we had great times not only officiating, but also enjoying the fellowship we and our fellow crew members experienced during our road trips to and from games.
God bless the memory of Butch Lang!
So sorry to learn of Butch’s passing. Good friends, he and Patti, of my late husband, Gary Riffe.. They served in the ND National Guatd together. (My husband is interred at Fort Snelling)
My prayers of God’s peace and comfort are with Patti and their family.
Growing up next door, Butch always had positive comments despite our considerable amount of interruptions. To Patti, David and Danny, thank you for the many memories and my deepest condolences to you during this most difficult time.
