Eugene was born August 2, 1934 in St. Paul, MN to Charlemagne and Mildred L’Allier. He married Evelyn Proulx on Oct. 5, 1957 in Somerset, WI. Gene loved his Canada fishing trips, deer hunting with the hunting crew at his brother Russ’s, attending his children’s, grandchildren and great grandchild’s events and attending local football games. He is preceded in death by parents, Charlemagne and Mildred (LaVasseur); brothers, Chuck and Richard; sister-in-laws Pat and Betty; children Maxine and Charles. He is survived by his wife Evelyn; brothers, Russ and Jim (Susan); children, Denise (Damian) Pray, EJ (Bernie) L’Allier, Brenda (Roy) Gruel and Rochelle (Tony) Tan; grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica (Josh) Gelsomino, Ryan Pray, Brianna, Nicole and Tyler L’Allier, Jordan Gruel, Jordan and Lance Tan; great grandchild, Jax L’Allier. A Time of Remembrance will be held at 11 AM on Friday Nov. 28th, 2014 at ST. ANNE’S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Somerset, WI. Visitation one hour prior to service at CHURCH. Interment St. Anne’s Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the Somerset American Legion Post 111. Memorials preferred.
