My sympathies to all. He will be missed. Many fond memories.
I see Ernie and Jean dancing together this Winter Solstice in their matching western gear outshining that bright Christmas Star. Sending love to the family. Ernie was one special man.

Lovely man. He is now having a time with his wife and having their cocktail. Thoughts, prayers and sympathy.

My memories are of Ernie Koukel back when he lived and worked in St. Paul Park. Remember his fall booya. Loved when he helped his sons make it for St. Bridgets. Brought back memories and it was so good. My sympathies to his family at this time
Erne was one special guy! He could do & fix anything. We enjoyed having him for an employee and as a friend whom we considered part of our family. We will miss him and his7 wonderful sense of humor. Sending our love & deepest smypathies to all of his family. R.I.P. Earne. Now you are with your loving wife and best friend, Jean.
I can’t remember when I didn’t know you Erne–1st grade, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, St Paul Saints baseball with your dad, missed your wedding, lunch a couple days after Jean died. God speed good friend.
I remember Ernie from our Boy Scout days in St. Paul Park. Class of 1954. Ernie carried a stack of books home every day to study when working at the store. He got beat out for Valedictorian by Carol Owens who didn’t take any hard subjects.
Ernie helped me remember the love I have for horses. Taught me all that he knew. He’s going to be so missed by me and I cherish the relationship I got with him.
Ernie was a great man! Glad he is now with his love, Jean. We were blessed to know him.
