Erma Coleman

Erma Rebecca Jane was born November 13, 1926 in Holcombe, WI and passed away on December 21, 2016 at the St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond. Erma Married Wayne Coleman on March 26, 1945 in Mt. Vernon, WA. Erma was a housewife and raised her children while working at retail stores downtown. She took care of her father and older sister for many years but always found time to bake goodies for her grandchildren when they came to visit. She will always be remembered as a very caring person who loved her family, the Lord, and her church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hazen and Carrie Irene Miller of Cornell, WI; son, James “Jim” of Eau Claire, WI; brothers, Roy, Ray, Harry, Robert, Donald, and Thomas; sisters, Hazel, Helen, Velma, Delores, Eunice; and brother-in-law, Arden Geving. She is survived by her husband Wayne; sons, Michael (Midge) of New Richmond, WI; Barry Sr. of Long Beach, WA; sister, Bette of Inver Grove Heights, MN; grandchildren, Deborah Frame, Treena Coleman, Barbara Coleman, Anthony (Alycia) Coleman, Jeffery (Sherri) Coleman, Barry (Jeannie) Coleman Jr.; great-grandchildren, Angela Frame, Christina, Samantha and Danielle Flandrick, Alexander and Zachary Frinack, Abigail, Annalise and Alexis Coleman, Parker and Lila Coleman, Keilani and Cholie Coleman; and many relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday December 27, 2016 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in New Richmond. Visitation will be held for one and a half hours prior to funeral at the church.
