Earl Olson 05/26/2025

Earl Adelbert Olson, born on July 20, 1936, in Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, in New Richmond, Wisconsin, at the age of 88. He is survived by his loving spouse, Anne Olson, as well as his son Daniel (Lynn Ostrowski) Olson, daughter Diana (Tim) Delaney, and grandchildren Karl Wertheimer and Greta Wertheimer.
Earl was a proud veteran of the USAF, serving in the 1950’s. He had various business ventures over the years, mostly based in the New Richmond area. He was a talented artist and possibly, the most avid hobbyist known to mankind, A man of many hats, to say the least.
Earl was preceded in death by his father, Leo “Earl” Olson, his mother, Sybil Olson, and his sister, Joan Ganseveld.
He loved and was loved. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
A Celebration of Earl’s Life will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 11 am at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services 728 S Knowles Avenue New Richmond, WI.  Visitation will also be on Saturday from 10-11 am at the funeral home.  Interment will be in the New Richmond Cemetery.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
