Doris A. Jacoby, age 87, of New Richmond, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 20, 2015 at Arthur Rose. Doris was born on November 25, 1928 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Clarence E. and Mary E. (Steinbacher) Wyatt. She graduated from Central Catholic High School. On November 25, 1948, Doris married her beloved husband Charles R. Jacoby. Doris worked at Sears for many years. After becoming a mother, Doris put her energy into homemaking, sewing, and cooking. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Richard Wyatt, Rita Straley, Ruth Hamm, Robert Wyatt, Paul Wyatt, Phyllis Hite, Patty Berndt, and William Wyatt. Doris is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Charles; children, Christina M. (Bill Ringhand) Jacoby, Matthew D. (Ellie) Jacoby, Mark E. (Terri) Jacoby, Claire J. (Scott) Ross; grandchildren, Tom (Heather) Winkler, Tamara Schmoll, Tim (Stacy) Winkler, Bryn Ford-Jacoby, Danae Ross, Shea Ford-Jacoby, and Cullen Ross; great grandchildren, Caleb Winkler, Dan Winkler, James Winkler, Gwen Winkler, Isadora Schmoll, Anneliese Schmoll, Jacoby Winkler, and soon to be great grandchild Josephine Winkler (March, 2016). Also survived by sister-in-law, Elaine Wyatt. No services are being held. Memorials preferred to Transverse Myelitis Association.
