Dennis Johnson, age 72, passed away at Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, Minnesota on Friday, October 24, 2025.
Den is survived by his siblings, Ken Johnson, Pamela York, Kathy Morris, Renee (Mike) Boucher, Darrel (Carole) Johnson; nieces and nephews, Shawn, Lance, Mick, Chad, Francine, Travis, Brad, Sarah, Chris, Jim, Melissa, Cyndie, Derrick, Christal; along with many great nieces and nephews and many friends.
He is preceded in death by is parents, Lloyd and Jean; Sheila Welch, Bryce York, Landon and Carter Hansen, Gail Johnson, Gary York, Donald Morris, grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
A celebration for life for DJ is being held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 5:00PM at Prairieview Covenant Church, 1396 210th Ave, New Richmond, Wisconsin, with visitation starting at 4:00PM. Private family interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Deer Park, Wisconsin.
Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

I am sincerely sorry for your loss of DJ. Loss is never easy, so behind each tear shed, I hope a fine memory of DJ puts a smile on your face. May the God of comfort, comfort you during this difficult time and give you hope through his promises. Death will be no more as it was never God’s original plan, (Gen.1:28; Rom.5:12; Rev.21:4) and loved ones will be resurrected (Acts 24:15) with the hope of life forever on a paradise earth, (Ps.37:11,29) as God intended. Cherish the hope and the years you spent with DJ.
