Del Robert Dorr, age 71, of New Richmond, WI passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at home with his daughter, Jennifer, by his side, after several years of medical complications.
He prided himself on his worldwide travels while working in the packaging machinery industry. His passion was rebuilding hot rods and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He is remembered for Friday night movie rentals, inappropriate jokes, and stubbornness. He liked things in a particular way and could never be told he couldn’t do something. A fighter until the end.
Del was preceded in death by his wife, Melodee Dorr; son, Stephen Dorr; mother, June Dorr; father, Herman Dorr; and brother Darnel Dorr.
He is survived by daughter, Jennifer Rice (Jayson); step-sons, Jason Gustafson (Shauna), and Jonathan Gustafson (Laurice). Will be forever missed by grandchildren, Jack, Vaughn, Shelby, Maya, Reis, Simon, and Eden.
Any future services will be private. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

Me and Jen grew up together, played at her house together lots and lots, and I never knew her dad. But i did know her mom. And this motorcycle riding season for me and my husband will be a bit dimmer bc her dad. is now riding in heaven instead. Me and my husband ceLee wish we could have met him. Jen was there for me over the phone and on facebook and she ha never stopped being there for me when she found out my dad passed. and we will be there for her the bestest we can.
