Corinne Zahnow

Corinne F. Zahnow, 80 (Mom, Nana, GiGi) of Somerset, died peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle of ovarian cancer on October 20th, 2019. Corinne spent her entire life making people feel unconditionally loved. She cherished being a mother and grand-mother more than anything on earth. She worked for Doboy Corporation 6 years and retired from Erickson’s Grocery after 29 years, both in New Richmond, WI. Corinne enjoyed morning coffee, reading, holiday baking, sporting events, but absolutely loved family gatherings.

Corinne is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles L. Zahnow, parents Pearl and Delia (Germain) Maitrejean her brothers, Edward, Willie, and Robert Maitrejean, and sisters Ione Larson, and Marianne Ball.

Corinne is survived by children, Debra Zahnow Lewis (Steve), Shellie Zahnow Jacobs (Dwayne), Scott Zahnow (Shari), Brenda Zahnow Larson (Scott); Grandchildren, Steve Jacobs, Rebecca Bowen, Justin Jacobs, Katie Stock, Nick Jacobs, Rachell Carlson, Tyson Belisle, Amanda Larson, Preston Larson and Halle Zahnow.  Also survived by in-laws John Ball, Sheryl Casey (Paul), 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 30th at 11:00 am with a one-hour visitation prior to service at ST. ANNE’S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Somerset, Wisconsin. Memorials preferred.
