Connie Cox, 74, of New Richmond, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, February 21, 2025. Connie was the fourth child born to Vernon and Viola Dull. She had many fond memories of growing up on the family farm.
On August 15, 1970, she married Russell Cox. Together, they had three daughters—Tammy, Julie, and Nicole—and were later blessed with six grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. In 1999, Connie and Rusty moved to New Richmond to be closer to them, a decision that allowed her to create even more cherished memories. She was the heart of her family—a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and later great-grandmother. Connie was always ready to offer her time, love, and support.
Connie had a true passion for creating and loved teaching others. As an enthusiastic baker and quilter, she expressed her love through the many heartfelt gifts she made. She also enjoyed time spent camping, playing games, and hosting family get-togethers.
Her legacy of love and devotion will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate to know her. She will be remembered for the compassion and care that she selflessly gave to others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Viola Dull; parents-in-law, Dale and Char Cox; brother, Leslie Dull; sister, Patti Kamm; and brother-in-law, Bob Martin.
Connie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Russell Cox; children, Tammy (Jay) Stockey, Julie (Craig) Warren, and Nicole (Kevin) Lagerstrom; brother, Terry (Carol) Dull; sisters-in-law, Shelley Dull, Janet Martin, and Sue (Donald) Seaton; grandchildren, Tony (Liz) Stockey, Shelly Stockey (Mike), Danielle (Cory) Sebion, Tyler Lagerstrom, Cailin (Cameron) Grisolia, and Tanner Warren; great-grandchildren, Owen, Luca, Walker, Theodore, and Olivia; special nephew, David Seaton; and extended family.
A private interment will be held at the Warren Cemetery. Cremation Services provided by Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
