Charlie Fillmore 10/12/2025

Bruce “Charlie” Fillmore age 71 of Shafer, MN passed away on Oct. 12, 2025. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

Charlie was born in St. Paul. He moved to Blackduck, MN after his father was drafted, he lived on the Solberg family farm. Charlie moved to Stillwater in 1964. He lived on Lake Carnelian where he enjoyed a great life fishing and hunting, he could even waterski barefoot. In 1989 Charlie married Julie Mordick, they moved to Shafer in 1991.

He was preceded in death by his parents Warren and Beverly Fillmore.

Charlie is survived by his siblings, Rodney (Cindy) Fillmore, Lois Fillmore, Carol (Reece) Schlenz; children, Rachael Linn, Molly Fillmore, Hannah Fillmore; and grandson Hendrix Christopherson, Aidan Gabranski; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 12PM (noon) on Saturday October 25, 2025, at Sal’s Angus Grill 12010 Keystone Ave N Stillwater, MN (Withrow, MN). Visitation will be held for one hour prior to service.
