Charles “Chuck” W. Nutzmann Sr., age 82, of New Richmond, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021, at Westfields Hospital. He was born the son of John and Eleanore Nutzmann on September 16, 1938, in St Paul, MN. He married Jacqueline “Jackie” Newville in 1960. Chuck dedicated his life to his family business Nutzmann & Sons Trucking & Excavating, working side by side with his sons every day. Throughout his life, Chuck could always be found in the driver’s seat. From a semi, hauling cheese back and forth to California, digging a basement with his bulldozer, hauling gravel with a dump truck, taking the boys to lunch in his pickup, pulling a sled on his Farmall, or at the racetrack in one of his many racecars.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Don.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jackie Nutzmann; brother, Ray (Bev) Nutzmann; sister in law, Mary Kay Nutzmann; children, Chuck (Linda) Nutzmann Jr., Mike (Julie) Nutzmann, Jamie (Shelly) Nutzmann; grandchildren, Tracy (Chad) DeWitt, Nikki (Zach) Cramer, Jon Nutzmann, Mike (Melissa) Nutzmann, Alex Nutzmann & Allison Nutzmann; great-grandchildren, Cindey Norlund-DeWitt, Christian DeWitt, Chayce DeWitt, Memphis Cramer, Devin Nutzmann, Aspen Nutzmann; and great great grandchild, Alexandria Myers.
Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond, WI. Visitation for one hour prior to Mass at the Church. Interment Oakland Cemetery in Star Prairie, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
