Charlene “Char” Boucher, age 67, of Somerset, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater on November 27, 2020, after a brief but hard fought battle with COVID. Char was born on January 5, 1953 to Gasper and Doris (Lemire) Campeau. She was a proud lifelong resident of Somerset, WI where she worked hard and raised 2 children, Jennifer Marie Campeau and Nathan Lowell Rivard.  

She was united in marriage on August 15,1992 to the love of her life, Gerald (Jerry) Boucher. Together they built a life full of adventures, laughter and special time with family and friends. 

Char will be remembered for the kindness she showed everyone she met, her meticulous bookkeeping skills, her wonderful home cooked meals and last but not least, her unrelenting strength and determination.

Char is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Chris), son Nathan (Melissa), stepdaughter Tammy Cook and stepson Jared (Jodie) Boucher; grandchildren Emma Rose and Ryan Rivard, Owen and Hannah Whaley, Liam Sievert, Ella and Parker Reese, Kaitlyn Rice, Kaleb Cook, Owen and Ethan Boucher; great grandchildren Axel and Olivia Bonsness; siblings Allen (Cindy), Dale (Judy), Bob (Mary), Julie Hansen, Sue (Ron) Reyer, Andy (Ron), Nancy (Rick) Manske, Gasper W. (Shelly), special dog Sam, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

She is preceded in death by husband Jerry, parents, Gasper and Doris, son-in-law Brian Cook and brother-in-law Bob Hansen.

The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Char’s care team at Lakeview Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Friday December 4, 2020 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Somerset, Wisconsin. Visitation for one hour prior to Mass at the church. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
