Bradley Boardman 01/03/2026

Bradley J. Boardman, age 72, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026.

Brad was born in New Richmond, Wisconsin to Ben J and Elaine Boardman on August 4, 1953.  He was raised on the farm in rural Somerset.  Brad attended school in New Richmond and graduated in 1972.  He went on to attend trade school in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  Brad worked as a carpenter and finished his career as a custodian at NRHS.  Brad retired early due to health issues.  He returned to the farm where he enjoyed the joys of nature.  Brad had a love of the outdoors.  He was an avid fisherman and deer hunter.   Brad enjoyed many years of raising a garden and preserving the fruits of his labor by canning and selling the goodies at craft sales alongside his girlfriend, Brenda.

Brad had many kitties on the farm that he spent hours enjoying and taking care of.  Brad lived a simple life but shared his time and humor (he had many one-liners) with all he encountered.

Brad is survived by his children, Jennifer (John) Bohr, Josh (Nicole) Boardman and Jerra (Dan) Sjolander; grandchildren, Brontae, Ben, Annika, Kenna, Kason and Sophie; sister, Chris Boardman; brothers, Greg (Renee) and Jeff Boardman; girlfriend, Brenda Jacobs; aunt, Beda Lewis; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brad is preceded by his parents, Ben J and Elaine Boardman.

A celebration of life is taking place on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 12:00PM – 3:00PM at the American Legion (464 Co Rd VV) Somerset, Wisconsin.  Interment will be this spring in Boardman Cemetery,  Boardman, Wisconsin.
