Bernadine “Bernie” Ann Beskau, age 89, of Hudson, WI, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025. Bernie was born and raised in Hastings, MN and later graduated from Hastings High School.
On January 21, 1956, she married Robert Beskau, in Hastings. Together, they moved to Roberts, WI. Where she embraced a life of raising five children, farming, and gardening. Bernie worked several jobs before and after raising her children. The couple moved to Hudson until Bob passed away and Bernie remained in Hudson until her passing.
Her passion was crafts and sewing for her family and later on, selling her hand work at craft fairs in the local area.
Bernie was not only an accomplished craftswoman, but she was also a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, Susan (Edwin) Bliven, Tom Beskau, Cheryl (Dennis) Rudd, and Jerome Beskau. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of grandchildren, including Theresa Bliven, Amy Veilleux, Darren Brathol, Kelly (Ryan) Worrell, Adam (Sheila) Beskau, and Alecia (Mike) Conway, along with numerous great-grandchildren who adored her dearly: Rafael and Viviane Veilleux, Maddox and Monroe Brathol, Kaia, Kenzie, and Khloe Worrell, Addyson Beskau, Sage Beskau and Bella Conway. Bernie was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Robert; her infant daughter, Karen; her daughter, Nancy; granddaughter, Amy Rademaker.
In accordance with Bernie’s wishes, a private family graveside service will be held at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery, where her family will gather to honor her life and memory.
Bernie’s warmth, creativity, and dedication to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to experience her love and kindness.
