Arlene Miller, age 92 of Maiden Rock, WI, passed away September 19, 2025 at the Plum City Care center. Arlene was born on September 23, 1932, on a farm in Grange Hall, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Louis and Vera (Fayerweather) Miller. Arlene graduated from Maiden Rock High School and then attended River Falls College, graduating with a teaching degree. She taught in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and Wabasha, Minnesota. She spent most of her life in Maiden Rock and a few years in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. She spent the last 10 years at the Plum City Care center.
Arlene is survived by her brother, Arvid (Kathryn) Miller, Nieces, Jamie (James) Voigt, Beth (Darrel) Hanson. A private family graveside service was held at Oakwood Cemetery, in Pepin, Wisconsin. We want to thank the workers at the Plum City Care center for all the care they gave Arlene through the years. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

I met Arlene in the fall of 1951 when we both lived in Hathorn Cottage as freshmen at UWRF. 8 of us lived together that year. 1951-1952. Arlene was quiet, kind, and a gentle soul. Thanks for the picture in the obit. She did not change so much as many of us do as we get older.
I have many memories of Arlene the years I worked at Plum Coty. Sympathy to family.
