Aaron Olsen 05/09/2024

Aaron Robert Olsen “Big A”, age 25, of Star Prairie, WI died in a tragic four wheeling incident. He was born the son to Robert and Jody (Schaffer) Olsen on July 7, 1998 in Stillwater, MN. Aaron graduated from Hudson High School and he had a smile that could light up the room. Aaron enjoyed so many things like family and friend get togethers, riding on the side by side with his parents and the “Star Prairie Crew” as well as tubing behind the boat with his niece and nephews. He loved the outdoors and the family cabin where he would sit in his hammock swing by the lake and give his parents thrilling jet ski rides as well as time spent at home swimming in the swim spa. Most of all, he loved riding the trails at home on his four wheeler, nothing brought more happiness, joy, and smiles. He is survived by his parents, Bob and Jody Olsen; sister, Ashley (Isaac) Stensland; brother, Curtis (Laura) Johnson; niece, Lucy Stensland; nephews, Wes Stensland, Louis Johnson, Maxwell Johnson and Calvin Johnson; grandparents, Larry and Joanne Schaffer; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and cherished friends. Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald “Perry” and Doris Olsen; one aunt and one cousin.
A memorial service was held Friday, May 17, 2024 at 3:00 pm at West Immanuel Lutheran Church (447 180th St.) Osceola, WI.  Visitation was also Friday from 1:00-3:00 pm at the church.  Following the service a reception and meal, with Aaron’s favorite foods, was held at Servant Hall at West Immanuel Lutheran Church. Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.

Aaron touched so many of us he will be missed greatly. We are going to miss our knuckle pumps, chair races in the shed and watching him cruise around or swimming in the spa. Junior would say more than once “Aaron drives better than you”
