Howard Bune 11/08/2014

Howard G. Bune age 97 of Hudson died Saturday, November 8, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul, MN.  He was born the son of George and Hazel (Foss) Bune on September 27, 1917 in Gilman Township.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen; an infant daughter and an infant son.  Howard is survived by his children, Julie Bune, Jane (Larry) Leskinen, Robert (Janet) Bune, Richard (Pam) Bune; grandchildren, Matthew Bune, Mark (Jenny) Bune, Emily Leskinen (Jamie), Krista Leskinen; great-granddaughter, Lila Bune; brothers, Al and Larry Bune; many nieces and nephews.  A funeral service was held Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 11:00 am at Bethel Lutheran Church (Downtown Campus) in Hudson.  Visitation was also Thursday from 10-11 am at church.  Interment was in Willow River Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.  Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services of Hudson.
