Kim EA Way passed on at her home outside of River Falls, Wisconsin on September 4, 2026. Kim was born to Ronald Charles Albrecht, Sr. and Ruth Dorothy (Fisher) Albrecht on September 6, 1953.
Kim earned her nursing degree and devoted her career to caring for children in the neonatal intensive care units (N.I.C.U.) at Regions and Fairview/Riverside hospitals in the Twin Cities. She loved her work.
She purchased a home just outside of River Falls, Wisconsin in 1990, which became a great source of joy and pride for her. She named the property Winsome Hollow Farm and hosted multiple events at the homestead including annual fall art and craft sales and several weddings and special events.
She found much enjoyment in gardening, antiquing, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and caring for her dogs.
Kim is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ronald Charles Albrecht, Jr. She is survived by her partner of 32 years, Lin Gromer, as well as her family and many friends.

We are so very sorry for the loss of Kim,we’ve done service work for her at her home for years and always helping out when she was out of water,may you rest in peace Kim!!
