Piper Thibodeau

Piper Lynn Thibodeau, age 47, of New Richmond, Wisconsin, passed away on March 25, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Piper was born on March 27, 1978, in Stillwater, Minnesota. She was the beloved daughter of Charles and Candace Neumann. Piper met the love of her life, Donald Thibodeau, in 1999, and together they later welcomed three children: Madison, Charles, and Chance (CJ).

Piper was a devoted wife, mother, and daughter whose laughter filled every room. She always had a smile on her face, and whenever music played, she could be found dancing and enjoying every moment. She loved being outdoors, whether working on her tan or tending to her flowers or collecting fresh vegetables.

There was always a cold beer ready for anyone who stopped by, and Piper found joy in every aspect of life—from her children’s sporting events to professional sports; she loved it all. In later years, Piper and Don spent their winters in warmer states, soaking up the sunshine together.

Piper absolutely adored her family and cherished her Sundays spent with her parents, watching sports or relaxing on the deck. She was especially excited for the arrival of her first grandchild in May.

Piper is survived by her husband, Don; her three children, Madison Thayer (Jon), Charlie (Makayla Sampair), and CJ; her parents, Chuck and Candy; her sister, Alison Zugschwert (Chris); and her brother-in-law, Derik (Brianna); her aunts, Renee Neumann and Gail Lindsey; and her beloved nieces and nephew.

Piper was preceded in death by her grandparents, Evelyn and Clifton Solle; her mother-in-law, Sandra Bertuleit; her father-in-law, Dale Morelli; and her uncles, Dennis Neumann and Bo Lindsey.

A Celebration of Piper’s Life will be held on April 18, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Meister’s Bar & Grill, 1402 County Road A, New Richmond, WI 54017.

Don and family, so sorry to hear about Piper. Always fun talking to you both when our boys were in baseball.
