Virginia Belisle

Virginia Carole Belisle, age 100, passed away on August 11, 2023, at St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond, Wisconsin.

She was born to Enrico Locarno and Julia Milani Locarno on August 10, 1923, in Niantic, Connecticut. She married Omer Belisle on July 16, 1949, in Los Angeles, California. Virginia was a homemaker for many years, and when her children were older, worked as a custodian for Somerset Public Schools. She was a lifelong member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Somerset.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Omer; and brothers, Lou, George, Pete, Mario, and Harry.

She is survived by her sister, Edith; children, Mark (Mary), Lisa (Tom), Gina (Jim, deceased), and Todd (Val); grandchildren Troy, Trent, Tadd (Sarah), Jeanette, Nate (Arsema), Carrie, Colin (Ron), Tyson (Amy), and Callie (Mal); and great-grandchildren, Devan (Hannah), Bailey, Josie, Simon, Erin (Adam), Piper (Sebastian), Rowan, Stella, Willow, and Emma.

A special thank you to the staff at St. Croix Health Center for the wonderful care they gave Mom the past six years.
