Donna Mechelke

Donna Mechelke, age 91, of New Richmond, Wisconsin passed away on April 17, 2023. She was born on October 30, 1931, to Harry and Helga Buettner in New Richmond. Donna graduated from New Richmond High School. She worked for many years at Hardware Hanks in Stillwater, Minnesota. Donna loved to read mystery books and spend time crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Mechelke; son, Douglas, Mechelke; daughter in law, Lynette Mechelke; grandson, Trinity; and sister, Marvell Buettner.

Donna is survived by children; Dale Mechelke, Donald (Charlotte) Mechelke, Debbie (Daniel) Kruczek; grandchildren, Christopher, Diane, John, Tonia, Christina, J.D., and Sarah; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Kathleen (Michael) Pepek; and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1-3 PM on Sunday April 23, 2023, at Cullen Crea Funeral Home in New Richmond. Graveside service to immediately follow visitation at New Richmond Cemetery.
