Mary “Sue” Roethele

Mary “Sue” Roethele, age 79, passed away on March 15, 2023, at the Golden Age Manor in Amery, Wisconsin. She was born on September 24th, 1943, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Edward and Geraldine (nee’ Loney) Roethele.

Sue resided in Wisconsin and had a love of horses, goats, cats, dogs, and was a master gardener. She worked for MnDOT, White Bear Press, WITC and the Minneapolis Police Department 3rd Precinct Safe Unit.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Terry; and nephew, Brian Woulfe.

Sue is survived by Carlene Jensen, her lifelong friend and travel companion. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Woulfe (John II); brother, Tim Roethele; sister in law, Cindy Roethele; 4 nieces, 4 nephews, and their spouses. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews, countless friends and others who called her family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3PM on Friday March 24, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Visitation for one hour prior to Mass at the Church. Luncheon to immediately follow Mass. Private interment to be held at a later date.
