
Ramona “Mona” Moulton, age 89, of Somerset, Wisconsin, died peacefully surrounded by her family on June 15th, 2022. She was born June 9th, 1933, in St. Paul, Minnesota to Lorraine (Pereske) and August Stelling. Her life was spent raising five boys with her late husband, Richard “Dick” Moulton. Ramona grew up in White Bear Lake, Minnesota and attended the Mechanics Arts High School while working at the St. Paul Public Library as a page. After graduating from High School, she attended Globe Business School. This is where Ramona became good friends with Jeanne Moulton. Jeanne introduced Ramona to her brother, Richard “Dick” and that was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Ramona and Dick were married 59 years and built their family of five boys as they moved throughout the country for Dick’s employment. During this time the family lived in Minnesota, Missouri, South Carolina, California, Florida and finally planting their roots in Somerset, Wisconsin.
The majority of Ramona’s career was spent as the office manager for the family business, Moulton Irrigation. Her hobbies included church activities, cooking, fishing, reading, bird watching, gardening and visiting the family cabin in Barnes, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorraine and August; husband, Richard; and son, Mark Garret.
She is survived by her loving children, Steve (OkPae No), Tim (Monica Plourde), Brian (Karen McIntyre), James (Coleen Leverty). Grandchildren, Jessica (Gene) Cody, Stephanie (Jason) Benson, Mike Moulton, Adam (Sarah Erke) Moulton, Amber (Kevin) McKeague, Abby (Karsten) Rimestad, David Moulton, Laura Moulton, Justin (Erica Alger) Moulton, Jennifer (Cal) Nitka, Jordan (Joan Barkowski) Moulton and 14 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday June 20, 2022, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Somerset, Wisconsin. Visitation to be held for one hour prior to Mass at the Church. Graveside service and luncheon to follow Funeral Mass.
