Rita Kieckhoefer, age 91, passed away on June 1, 2021 at the St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond, Wisconsin. She was born on July 15, 1929 to Theodore and Mary (Beauvais) Rondeau in Somerset, Wisconsin. Rita worked as an LPN at Holy Family Hospital for many years. She enjoyed going out fishing with her cane pole and loved to travel to new places. Rita also liked going on trips to the casino.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Gerald; siblings, Alvin, Alfie, Jim, Eddy, Ray, Leola, Kenny; sister-in-law, Cyrella Flandrick, daughters-in-law, Barb (Tischler) Kieckhoefer, Mary (Cross) Kieckhoefer; and son-in-law, Bryan Vanasse.
She is survived by children, Gerry Jr. (Cathy) Kieckhoefer, Bob (Colleen) Kieckhoefer, Jeanne Vanasse, Randy Kieckhoefer, Mike (Kathy) Kieckhoefer, Dave (Pam) Kieckhoefer, Julie (Mike) Petherbridge; 26 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren, brother, Arnold (Betty) Rondeau; and sister, Char Rondeau.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 12PM Friday June 4, 2021 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Somerset, WI. Visitation prior to Mass at the church.
