Eleanor Mohn

Eleanor Edith “Dolly” Mohn passed away on January 17, 2019, at age 86, at the place that she loved the most; her warm and loving home of 65 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Melania Miller, and her loving husband, Kermit.

She is survived by her daughters, Gina (Rick) Buberl, Jodi (Roland) Mueller, and Wendy (Dan) Yarusso; grandchildren, Adam, Kaira, Stacy, Jennifer, Dan, Anthony, and Nick, and ten great grandchildren with another one due in July.

Eleanor had many passions in her full life, including her love of dancing and travel with Kermit, reading, tending to her beautiful flower gardens and crocheting lovely things to share with others. Eleanor was a true animal lover; she especially loved her birds. Interacting with children brought her true joy, and she was proudly known as Grandma Dolly at the daycare where she volunteered for many years.
Eleanor cherished her long and loyal friendships with her many relatives and friends, and she was a lifelong faithful and devoted member of her church- St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, where she held many leadership positions throughout the years. Eleanor was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed.

Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday January 23, 2019 at the St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Stillwater, MN. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service, luncheon immediately following service. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
