Doris E. Olsen

Doris E. Olsen, age 69, of New Richmond, Wis., died peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011. She was born on Sept. 9, 1941, to Walter and Doris (Olson) Osborne.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Elwanda Osborne.

Doris loved her grandchildren. She liked to bake and to watch her perennials bloom in the spring.

Doris is survived by her husband, Gerald “Perry” Olsen; children, Laurie (Lynn) Merriman, Robert (Jody) Olsen, Gregory (Catherine) Olsen; siblings, Louis (Lorraine) Osborne, Clarence (Linda) Osborne, Linda(Melvin) Marlowe, Doreen (Charles) Frank, Donald Osborne, Darryl (Betsy) Osborne, Debbie (Steve) Stewart, Daniel (Gale) Osborne; grandchildren, Nicole Olsen, Molly Olsen, Aaron Olsen; step-grandchildren, Ashley Stensland, Curtis Johnson, Steven McKeehan, Megan McKeehan, Nathan McKeehan.

Funeral services 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, at West Immanuel Lutheran Church, Osceola, Wis. Visitation was held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment West Immanuel Cemetery.
